I had severe dizziness — so bad that it was difficult to go outside and I had to move back in with my parents — and years of visiting the doctor and having various tests produced nothing.
Out of desperation, I booked an appointment with Graham at Havering Therapy Centre. At first I was worried that physiotherapy would be a waste of time and money, since the doctor couldn’t find anything, but right away Graham was confident that he had an idea on what could be the cause: unbalanced muscle tension up and down my spine.
Unbeknown to me at the time, I had really bad functional scoliosis. This was not picked up by any of the doctors I saw, but Graham noticed it immediately.
Now, after a few months of seeing Graham and doing his recommended exercises at home, the dizziness is almost completely gone, and my spine is fully straight today. Genuinely life-changing. I suspect that the dizziness will soon disappear entirely, as it’s just been getting better over time.
Graham is very knowledgeable, intelligent, and kind — exactly what you want in a medical practitioner. He actually went above and beyond to help me get better, because he understood how horrible my symptoms were, and I will always be grateful to him for this.
And in fact everyone I spoke with at Havering Therapy Centre, from the receptionists to the practitioners, was absolutely lovely. Genuinely the nicest group of people you could ever meet. I would definitely recommend this place.
