We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, and to be able to visit the clinic comfortably.
We have tried to build this site so that it works well for everyone. That includes:
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are not currently able to confirm that every part of the site meets that standard. Areas we are aware may need improvement include:
We want to be straightforward about what our building is and isn't able to offer, so that you know what to expect before you arrive — and so you can tell us if you need something arranged differently.
There are two small steps up to the front door of the clinic.
Once inside, access to our physiotherapy treatment rooms is step free.
If you are unable to get into the clinic at all, we offer home visits for physiotherapy. Please call us to arrange this.
Our podiatry room is up one flight of stairs. There is a handrail on both sides of the staircase.
If you are not able to manage the stairs, please tell us when you book — we can carry out some podiatry treatments downstairs. We will let you know honestly whether what you need can be done on the ground floor.
We have to be honest that wheelchair access is limited, because several of the internal doors in the building are too narrow. If you use a wheelchair, please call us on 01708 621111 before booking so we can talk through what is possible — including a home visit for physiotherapy where that would work better for you.
Guide dogs are welcome at the clinic.
If you have access requirements of any kind, please call us on 01708 621111 before your appointment. We would much rather know in advance so we can make arrangements, than have you arrive and find something in the way.
If you have difficulty using this website, or you need information from it in a different format — such as large print or a printed copy — please contact us:
We will consider your request and get back to you. If you are not happy with how we respond, please see our complaints procedure.
Under the Equality Act 2010 we have a duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled patients. If there is something that would make coming to the clinic easier for you, please just ask.
