A 90-minute treatment working both outside and inside the mouth — to release deep tension through the face and jaw, and to lift and tone the facial muscles.
Buccal massage is a treatment in its own right, distinct from both sports massage and relaxing massage. It combines hands-on work across the décolleté, neck and face with an intraoral technique performed inside the mouth, reaching the cheek and jaw muscles that cannot be worked effectively from the outside.
Many people come for the facial side of the treatment. Others come because they clench or grind their teeth, hold tension through the jaw, or get tension headaches. The treatment is the same; what differs is what you are hoping to get from it, and Anna will talk that through with you at the start.
Six elements, worked through in one continuous treatment rather than booked separately.
Through the décolleté, neck and face, releasing tension and restrictions in the fascia.
Helps ease the jaw tension and discomfort associated with clenching and grinding.
Helps reduce puffiness and fluid retention around the face, neck and jaw.
A specialised technique performed inside the mouth, working on the inner cheek and jaw muscles to release deep tension and soften the appearance of facial lines.
Massage worked along the contours of the face and jawline, which many people find leaves the face looking smoother and fresher.
Helps release tightness through the jaw, face, neck and head that may contribute to tension headaches.
Because part of the treatment is carried out inside the mouth, Anna will explain exactly what is involved and check that it is suitable for you before starting. Nothing goes ahead until you are happy with it, and you can ask her to stop at any point.
Buccal treatment at the clinic is provided by Anna Bespaloviene, one of our physiotherapists.

Anna graduated from King’s College London in 2024 and works in community-based NHS services alongside her work here, having joined Havering Therapy Centre in January 2026.
Alongside her physiotherapy practice she has trained in buccal massage, and in dry needling and acupuncture, kinesiology and sports taping, and sports and deep tissue massage. Her physiotherapy background is part of why the jaw and headache side of this treatment sits comfortably alongside the facial side.
Anna is at the clinic on Monday, Thursday and Saturday, and treats adults and young people aged 14 and above.
HCPC registered · Member of the Chartered Society of PhysiotherapyThe treatment takes 90 minutes and costs £100.
A £40 deposit secures the appointment — the same deposit we take for physiotherapy — and comes off the £100 on the day, so only the balance is payable when you come in. If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice the deposit is refunded in full, or moved to your rearranged appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, it is kept and nothing further is payable.
You can pay the deposit online — choose Physiotherapy on the form. Full details are in our patient terms.
Buccal treatment is booked by phone rather than through our online diary, so we can go through what is involved with you first.
