Our Services

Alternative & complementary therapies.

Alongside physiotherapy, podiatry and counselling, our practitioners offer a range of complementary therapies — used both on their own and as part of a wider treatment plan.

01
Soft tissue

Sports Massage

Focused, hands-on treatment that works into the muscles and soft tissue to correct problems and imbalances caused by repetitive or strenuous activity. Used before and after exercise it may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury — and despite the name, it isn’t just for athletes.

Wellbeing

Relaxing & Wellbeing Massage

Where sports massage works into a specific problem, relaxing massage is about giving you time to slow down. Treatments include Full Body Swedish and Aromatherapy Massage, Relaxing Back, Shoulder and Neck Massage, Indian Head Massage and Kobido facial massage, provided by Kasia Jezierska, who manages her own diary.

Traditional therapy

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles at specific points on the body to help relieve pain and encourage the body's own healing response. At our clinic it is most often used alongside physiotherapy as part of a wider treatment plan, particularly for musculoskeletal pain, muscle tension and chronic pain conditions.

Several of our physiotherapists are qualified in acupuncture, which means treatment can be combined naturally with hands-on therapy and exercise in the same appointment where appropriate.

Complementary

Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy based on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different areas of the body. Using precise pressure and massage techniques, the therapist works over these points to encourage relaxation and a sense of overall wellbeing.

Many people find it a deeply relaxing treatment and use it to unwind, ease tension and take some time out — it's carried out fully clothed, with only the shoes and socks removed.

Alongside foot reflexology, our reflexologist also offers facial and auricular (ear) reflexology, with each session tailored to what your body needs. Treatments are commonly used to support relaxation and sleep, and to help with hormonal and digestive balance.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy and works alongside, rather than as a replacement for, medical treatment. A full medical history is taken at your first appointment so treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

Talking therapy

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy that works with the unconscious mind to help change patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that keep you stuck. It isn’t about losing control — it’s about reclaiming it. We have two hypnotherapists, each with her own approach.

Katie is a Cognitive Hypnotherapist. Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a short-term, solution-focused approach that draws on evidence-based techniques from different therapeutic disciplines — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), positive psychology and Gestalt — to uncover and challenge often life-long subconscious beliefs and patterns.

Viola is an accredited member of the National Hypnotherapy Society. She tailors every session to the individual rather than relying on generic scripts, and offers sessions in English and Polish.

Aukse Poplawska

Aukse Poplawska

Reflexologist

Aukse — pronounced OWK-seh, and also known as Alice — is a fully qualified and insured reflexologist based in Havering. She offers foot, facial and auricular (ear) reflexology, with every treatment tailored to what your body needs on the day.

Her approach is calm, intuitive and person-centred. She takes the time to listen, and has spent over 20 years exploring holistic health — an interest that began when her own children were diagnosed with autoimmune conditions and she started looking into natural ways to support their health.

Aukse holds a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and has undertaken extensive further training, including advanced facial reflexology and Zone Face Lift (Bergman method), aromareflexology, auricular reflexology, reflexology for women's health, pregnancy and fertility reflexology, lymphatic drainage reflexology, and trauma and recovery. She completed a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling in 2026, which she credits with deepening her ability to listen and offer a more client-centred experience.

She has a particular interest in women's health, digestive health, emotional wellbeing, and lifestyle as medicine — taking a holistic view that focuses on the person rather than the symptom.

Whether you are dealing with stress, sleep problems, hormonal changes or digestive issues, or simply want to maintain your wellbeing, Aukse offers a calm and professional space to unwind.

Cognitive Hypnotherapist

It's always a privilege to watch a client empower themself and make changes to their life. Be that taking a flight after years of being paralysed by fear, making a presentation at work when previously they've left jobs when this became a requirement, or discovering a new way to respond to emotional triggers, enabling them to vastly improve their relationships with those around them.

Why me? I'm not only a practitioner, but a client. Cognitive Hypnotherapy changed my life. It allowed me to make lasting change and live a life I love. I am so passionate about what I do because I've experienced the benefits myself.

How I work. I take the time to get to know you so that your experience is tailored entirely to you. I offer an initial 20-minute free consultation to see if I'm the right therapist for you. This is followed by a 90-minute history take, during which I get to know more about you and your story. We then work together to take you from where you are in life to where you want to be. This journey looks different for everyone, but I'll be there to guide you through it every step of the way.

Qualified Hypnotherapist

Are you ready to change the stories your mind has been telling you?

Maybe your mind feels caught in a constant loop of worry. Perhaps there’s an old habit you’ve struggled to break, a fear that continues to hold you back, or a pattern you understand but somehow can’t seem to change. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know one thing: change is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

A space where you can feel heard. I understand that reaching out for therapy or hypnotherapy can feel like a big step. My aim is to offer you a warm, confidential and calm space where you can explore what you are experiencing without judgement, at a pace that feels right for you. For me, therapy begins with trust, so I take the time to understand you — your experiences, your circumstances, your personality and what you want to achieve.

No one-size-fits-all approach. I don’t rely on generic scripts or predetermined solutions. Instead, I tailor my approach to you, creating sessions that reflect your individual needs, goals and way of experiencing the world.

What I can help with. I work with adults across a range of areas, with a particular focus on anxiety and stress, phobias and fears, smoking cessation, and rebuilding your relationship with food. Sometimes understanding something logically isn’t enough: you can know exactly what you want to change and still find yourself caught in the same thoughts, feelings or behaviours. Hypnotherapy can offer another way of working with those patterns. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you stuck, quieten some of the mental noise, and work towards healthier and more helpful ways of responding.

How I work. My approach is down-to-earth, empathic, honest and professional. No mystical jargon, no judgement, and no promises of overnight transformation — just genuine, personalised support designed around you.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Rehabilitation and am currently completing a Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Therapy, expected March 2027.
